Already this year we’ve decided to say no to traveling for the time being. It’s hard for us, we’re adventurers and get a little antsy staying in one place for too long. Jordan has a week off next week and we made plans for three different trips. We were ready to book flights to Disney World, but decided last minute to stay home. We had already traveled with Ruby to many different states by this point with Margot, she even flew on a plane at 8 weeks old! If that taught us anything, I think we will be just as happy traveling with two little ones in tow.
We don’t know yet where we will be, but we do know that we will be moving this summer. So, for us, the wise choice is to rest up before this big change. And who knows? We may be somewhere really cool and we should probably save our traveling funds.
So, here’s the list of where we want to travel this year:
because we don’t know where we want to live, it’s more so just my dream spots.
St. Louis, Missouri
Our home for the next six months and we still have so much left to explore. Our first year here it seemed like we went into the city every chance we could. And now, the idea of driving over the river is a little daunting. Knowing we won’t be here much longer, I want to soak up as much of this city as I can.
Glacier National Park
The only place we haven’t made it to from my first list… I think I’ll keep it here until we finally visit.
Anywhere in Italy, really. I definitely want to visit Florence, and then Cinque Terre. From there I can’t decide if I’d want to see the norther part of Italy or the Southern. Either way, I’d be happy. Lake Como sounds like a dream as well.
I guess since this is a dream list, I will keep adding to the places if I could go anywhere. A friend of ours just moved to states from Cyprus. She has fully convinced me to go visit. I’d also be happy visiting Greece as well, or Israel
Before I start dreaming too much, I think I may need to end here. We will be finding out where we will be going in the next month or so, and then I’ll give an updated list of places we’d like to visit!
What’s on your list?
The photo is from our trip to Barcelona, Spain. We’re standing in front of the Sagrada Familia, something I’ve always wanted to see in person. And it was incredible. Go see it.
