Last fall I loved shopping for Ruby’s first school year. It was also her first year in toddler sizes and it felt like I was shopping more for a little girl than for a baby. We painted her a beautiful new wardrobe to house her new toddler sized clothing.
I was kind of embarrassed to say that Navy is a family favorite over here. While I don’t love their fast fashion ways, I haven’t found a place that’s as easy and inexpensive. And it fits our style! I have a specific aesthetic, like, I don’t even shop at Target for kids clothes. If I browse through the Old Navy branded sweatshirts, this store has some really cute things.
Last year we found some favorites, like long-sleeve peplum tops and pull-up jeans. The leggings are also thick and durable. I also learned that with children they often can’t wear items more than once, so this year I’m getting a couple more pants to throw into the rotation.
I’m hoping they’ll have more to offer soon, but for now, here are my favorites Old Navy’s toddler section this fall:
