I had a lot of fun reviewing where I wanted to travel last year, so I decided to make a list for 2017. You can see the 2016 post here. Not sure how much traveling we would be able to do with a baby, it was fun to see how so many of those trips became a reality. Traveling is truly something that we value and we have found that it’s worth the extra effort.
A lot of these places for 2017 are already in the works. I probably should have written this list back in January when we were still dreaming. These places would still be on there. We have quite a few trips planned early this year and plan on making as many flights as we can before Ruby turns 2 this May. We actually have one flight about a week before! Her passport will for sure be in hand!
So, here’s the list for this year.
Where I want to travel in 2017:
Ruby and I have a girls trip planned. I’ve been wanting to get to some warmer weather and a beach for some time and when I saw cheap airfare I jumped on it. I have a cousin and family that live in Fort Meyers, so we’re excited to see them and are so thankful that they’re taking us in for a few days!
- Portland, Oregon
Our dear friends from our time in Bloomington just moved to Portland. We visited them while they were in Seattle and told them that we’d be out to see them again when they made it to Portland! They’re big move coincided with us dreaming of where to go on our vacation this spring. We had such a blast visiting them in Seattle so, we’re really looking forward to this trip!
- San Diego, California
This was on our list last year and we have some tentative plans in the works! Hoping that we can make it work. Finger crossed!
- South Carolina
always and forever on out list.
- The Ozarks
We went camping here last year and hope to return again!
This is mostly on Jordan’s list, that wilderness guy is always dreaming of something. This could potentially be a summer thing, more dreaming to do on this one. Anyone have any Alaska ideas? If we don’t end up going to Alaska, I would love to visit Iceland or something!
Have you been to any of these places and have any advice for us? Where do you want to travel this year?
